JoMailTM is a full-functioned email client, enabling the sending and receiving of electronic email. JoMail is designed to bridge all email formats into a single application.

Multi Threaded

JoMail will create multiple threads (computer processes) to handle tasks simultaneously. For example, you can get your mail from all your email accoutns at once, or have JoMail
work in the background, while you surf the web.

Powered by 9Elder's Browser Engine

This enables JoMail to find your email on web-based email hosts, such as
hotmail, yahoo mail, and countless others. It brings your email to your own
computer, eliminating many of the problems with web-based email.
For example, you won't lose any sent messages due to network problems.

QuickSend

The QuickSend feature enables you to send mail directly to the recipient,
rather than relying on delivery by a remote host. This also makes it much
quicker and easier than sending via a web-mail provider. It also enables you
to send email without even having an email account!

Configurable

JoMail is skinnable. The "look and feel" of the program can be changed
to a style you are comfortable with. Menus and reminders can be turned off and on,
all window sizes are flexible, and more. Add your own "you've got mail" sounds,
one for each email account if you prefer!

100% Pure Java

Because JoMail is written in 100% pure java, it runs on almost all popular
platforms. Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, Unix, Linux, Solaris, Mac, and more!
This also means that any crash will be confined to JoMail,
and will not affect your computer!

Secure

If you choose to speed up email by letting JoMail save your password,
it will be encrypted to your local hard drive.
JoMail supports SSL v3 encryption.
